The EU pays 80% of your systems report

Malta's Business Reports for SMEs grant funds a full €5,000 review of how your business actually runs: where the hours leak, what to systemise first, and what it returns. The EU reimburses €4,000 of it. Your net cost: €1,000.

The scheme

What "Business Reports for SMEs" actually is

An ERDF Business Enhance scheme run by Malta's Measures & Support Division. It gives SMEs a €4,000 lump-sum grant, 80% of a €5,000 eligible cost, for a professional Process & Systems Review of their business. It's the same diagnostic we run in our Operational Audit, delivered to the scheme's full specification.

Questions

Straight answers

Is the €4,000 paid upfront?

No. This is a reimbursement scheme. You pay for the report in full, keep the invoice and proof of payment, and the €4,000 is refunded to you by the Measures & Support Division after your claim.

Can the grant pay for the systems build itself?

Not this one. The Business Reports grant funds the report only, and the Investment Proposal inside it includes a fair market comparison. The build itself can qualify under a separate scheme, Digitalise Your SME, which co-funds up to 50% of eligible digital investment.

Who prepares the report?

Alphatech runs the operational analysis; the financial sections are prepared and reviewed with a qualified lead consultant, as the scheme requires.

What if my business doesn't qualify?

Then skip the grant route and take the standard Operational Audit instead. Same diagnostic thinking, scoped to a 90-minute session.
